Raise a village. Muster an army. Take the map.

A real-time strategy game for your browser. Free to play, nothing to install, no wallet needed to start.

What is Oswin

Build. March. Rule together.

In-game screen, sample data

Build

Your village keeps working while you sleep. Every building you level shows up in the village, and people walk the paths between them.

In-game screen, sample data

March

An attack is a march, not a button. Your army walks the map in real time, the defender can see it coming, and you have 90 seconds to call it back.

Rule together

Join an alliance of up to 60 rulers. Share a board, mail and defence alerts.

The world

One map, shared by every ruler

In-game screen, sample data

300 by 300 tiles of forest, mountain, plain and desert, shared by every ruler in the world. The nearest village is usually under half an hour's march away. Every new ruler gets a Bandit Camp a few tiles off to raid every 12 hours, and beginner protection while they find their feet.

Heroes

Every ruler leads with a hero

A hero has a calling that decides how they fight all season.

Steward

Keeps the books and the granary. Its village produces more and raiders carry more home. Even-handed in a fight.

Champion

The hardest hitter. Strong against footsoldiers, weak against cavalry, and the slowest. A won attack costs fewer troops. Nothing about it helps you defend.

Oracle

Strong against cavalry, weak against footsoldiers. Beside a Hospital it brings far more wounded back.

Heroes go on adventures and bring home swords, helms, boots, ointments and scrolls. Adventurer's Chests print their odds right under the button. We'd rather you know them.

War

Every battle leaves a report

In-game screen, sample data
  • Every report shows who fell on each side and what was carried home.
  • Scouts are the only way to see an enemy garrison.
  • A Hospital turns part of every fallen army into wounded you can heal instead of dead.

Web3, planned

Play to airdrop (planned)

Play a whole season free. You don't need a wallet to start. When the season ends, a planned Oswin token airdrop pays rulers by their share of the season, shown live on the in-game Payout tab. Link a wallet before the season ends. One account per person: accounts that share a device are linked, and flagged accounts are held out. The token, chain and dates will be announced on X first. Details to come.

Stay safe: We never DM first, and never ask for a seed phrase, a password or a payment. Only trust links posted from @oswinweb3.

Devlog

Built properly

The game in your browser is built in Godot 4 and only draws the world. Every rule lives on our server. When a march lands at 3am the server fights the battle and writes both reports; nobody needs to be online and nobody can fake it from the browser. If your browser shouldn't know something, the server never sends it.
